No the RTM. But the problem has the exact same symptoms as in XP.

And you've tried the blindingly obvious stuff like reseating things, checking connections, swapping sata cables?

And what are you using to unzip Robert? Does it happen on both OS and 3rd party utility?

Just extracted a file using WINRAR, it lagged my PC.

I copied the same file, rather than extracting (using windows copy, no applications) and it was fine?

And what happens when you extract using another archiver, like 7-zip?

Well it should but doesn't, eh. So just see if 7-Zip works, won't take you 5 minutes to see what happens.

I am able to use winrar with no problems on Vista x86 and x64.

Not tried an 8 gig file though.

Well I just swapped my two 320s (unraided) to the Jmicron controller, which left the CDROM and main boot drive on the ICH8 controller.

Unzipped the file and same issue :/
