Default GPU Stock Cooling Power Consumption

As many of you can read on the build section of the forum; I am currently building a new gaming rig. However, when it came to connecting my fan controller I have hit a bit of a snag. To get it working with the stock cooling on my GPU (1x Asus EAH4870/HTDI/512M) I need to know the power consumption (preferably in amps though watts will be fine). I have searched all over the net and have so far come up with nothing. Does anybody have one of these cards? If not how can i find this out?

If you have no luck finding that info out, you could adjust the fan speed through Ati tool:

ATITool - Overclocking utility for ATI and NVIDIA cards
