Core i7 Launches - Post The Best Prices And Report Price Gouging Here!

I just received an email from Scan, telling me that their Nehalem stuff was in stock, but the prices are hideous so I thought I'd start a thread to find Core-i7 'bargains' and to point out places to avoid because of price gouging.

    Intel i7 920

    Mesh £238
    Lambdatek £238.00
    Aria £247.69
    Microdirect £252.63
    Yoyotech £253.54
    Eclipse - £256.44
    Ebuyer £264.37
    CCL £266.51
    Scan £268.10
Overcockers £281.99 <-Gougers of the week?

    Intel i7 940

    Mesh - £453.61
    Aria - £480.58
    Microdirect £488.28

    Ebuyer £505.25
    Scan £516.02
    CCL £518.29
Overcockers £540.49 <- Gougers of the week?

    Asus Rampage II Extreme

    Scam £320.82
Overcockers £340.74 <- Gougers of the week?

    P6T Deluxe

    Lambdatek £223.20
    Mesh - £224.14
    Ebuyer £249.96
    Yoyotech £250.04
    Scan £252.81
    Overcockers £264.36
    Aria £280.77

    P6T Deluxe OC Palm

    LambdaTek £257.45
    EBuyer £266.71
    Scan £281.08
    Overcockers £299.61

    MSI Eclipse

    EBuyer £274.31
    Aria £291.36

    Scam £309.33

Feel free to add prices and retailers as you find them, these are just to get the ball rolling...you can add memory prices too if you spot anything

Yeah Aussie prices aren't that much better

    with AUD$1 = £0.42 or US$0.65

    i7 920 = AUD$595-620 = £250-260
    i7 940 = AUD$999-1199 = £420-504
    i7 965EE = AUD$2050-2299 = £861-966

Yeah they look pretty grim too, although the £420 for a 940 looks a little more easy on the wallet than our cheapest of £516.

    Aria:

    i920 £247.69 (inc. VAT)

    i940 £480.58 (inc. VAT)

    Skt 1366 Mobos @ Aria

Looks like aria come out on top so far.

Edit: Dabs don't have aything 1366 yet. They're usually more expensive than other places anyway.

I hadn't heard of them till i saw ads for them on the old home page before the google ads went away.
Site looks slick, not that will tell us anything.

I wouldnt buy from them either unless i had more info on them, so maybe strike them from the list for now.

I've seen dinopc come up on several google searches, but I haven't bought from them and I don't know anyone else that has, so I think we can leave them out for now.

I should also make it clear that I'm not recommending any particular etailer here, just pointing out the difference in prices.
