For the size, price and what they can deliver, I'd call them unbeatable. Very impressive, especially for the 104 EUR I paid for them originally. They've since had a price hike over here to around 122 EUR + but then again, everything over here has gone up. ...I'd still pay the extra for them if I was in the market for a quality 2.1 setup.

Logitech MX3200 keyboard/mouse set. Loads of really useful functions, love it.

Thats good because mine just arrived today. I wonder if I'll notice much improvement over the E8400...

My product of the year would probably be my GA-EX38-DQ6. Despite only ever using outdated drivers (up until yesterday ), it's still been much more stable than any board I've owned in the past (mostly Asus).

My best value award, however, goes to my Rotel RB-06 power amp.

Hopefully you do, the 10x multi and different stepping can delivery huge gains for some folks, though not all.

The E3110/E8400 i had which im told was a crappy batch did 3.8Ghz on 1.39v but the E8600 does 4.5Ghz (stable) at 1.30v. Nice. Hard to complain with those numbers.

Can you post some pix and maybe a few screen dumps of some benches?
I think we would all enjoy seeing them.

Do you sit quite close to it?

I ask as i put a 30" display in for a client and he now complains about "google glare" with hugeness of the white background is pretty bright.
