Default Memtest+ "RsvdMem" question

On the results row does anyone know what this is and why it can vary so much between motherboards.

It's only a couple of megs on my Asus P5K iirc but it's 84 megs on my Gigabyte X38-DQ6 and around 20 megs on a nforce4 motherboard i have.
