Default Need a favour please- HDtune screenies from your laptops

I'm having disk problems on my laptop and I've just run HDTune which gave me this, which would explain the laptop being very slow and getting slower.

It's a bog standard 120GB 5400rpm drive in a Vostro 1700.

I'm also missing about 50GB of space, even after running the disk utils, so it's looking like an RMA, but I would like to compare it against your HDTune results if possible

ta.

Fixed some of the space, still a load missing.

Deleted the shadow copy files, and did a disk cleanup, I still have a 50 gig windows installation

Oh, yours is broke too

Hmmm, this is weird...maybe it's just a crap drive then. It seems to be the bottleneck of the laptop, I think I might have to try an SSD in it

This is mine: Clicky
And as a 7200rpm drive it is no quicker than yours.
These look good, i might buy one next year if they work out cheaper per Gb than a raptor. Too much just now.

Gah, your and your terabyte monster. Do you have a laptop too you could test?
I am now curious about why laptop drives in dells seem to underperform.

Oh my god, how do you manage with that?^^

Still, this is making mine look fairly normal

That Intel X25-M drive does look like it'll make a huge difference....lot of money though and nowhere really stocking them yet?
