I have it installed on a separate drivers partition because of problems originally installing it - seems to make all the difference.....
Well, installed the update but it won't run.
Doesn't matter, I have still the advantage.

I believe 890/1275 is the highest I can reach with stock voltage because sometimes the cursor will chance shape and size.
Has seen this before with oc' ing, processor or gpu doesn't matter, it's the highest you can reach.

Oh well, gpu 700 -->890 and memory 1000 -->1290 is quit impressive!

Well, my HR03-GT has arrived from Aff 13 (thanks Mate ), but the TR-VRM R3 is still sat in the local sorting office because RM are crap.....

Hopefully it will be all done sometime tomorrow morning, then I can have a play

Well, everything's now arrived, so it's time to start stripping the card down, and putting some new cooling on....

    Thermalright VMR-R3

This little beauty arrived in a thundering great box

    I'd got the HR-03_GT from Aff 13.....

And a new Coolink 1200rpm 120mm quiet fan from e-buyer

Fitted the fan to the HR-03 with cable ties

    Added the VRM-R3

And a spare 80mm Noctua for luck......

I ended up having to install this in the lower Pci-e slot on my board, because the height and thickness of the VRM-R3 meant I couldn't get the Gfx card in with having the TrUE fitted......

Anyway, it's in and I won't be buying a second 5850 to go in crossfire until I build another system.....

    So, some temps.......

    Stock Speeds (725/1000)

Furmark 1.0.8 Stock Speeds, with Post Fx turned on....

A full 25c cooler now than before across the board

I used Tuniq TX3 instead of AS5 to see what the difference would be...

More benchies and temps soon, as I'm away for a few days now (half-term.....)

wow!!! Thats now a freaking BEAST!! Cant wait to see those benchies.. Thermalright should make another VRM cooler (the same design) but rather then fitted parallel to the mobo it should go all the way over and fit as though on the bottom of the card.

    Looks great!
