Default Clunk.org.uk Gaming Clan?

There's been a few people mentioning it, so if there's enough interest, I can make you a section and you can set it up and do what you have to do.

I won't be able to participate much because I'm a piss poor gamer, and also, I'm snowed under with other stuff at the minute.

If you are interested and want to participate, post here and we can sort it out.

I'd be up for it too, dont play COD4 on the PC, i have it on 360 but rarely play it...

CSS for sure, UT2004 is what im best at and anything else is always fun.

Also Left 4 Dead is out soon, getting 4 people together would be great for some zombie survival co-op

Depends on what games and ladders we would want to play on. Ideally we would benefit from a decent squad+reserves for matches incase some cant play on match nights.

Last clan i was in we had thrity or more active members so for UT we had an A and B squads for tournaments and rotated players if everyone showed up to make sure as many as possible got to play.

I reckon if we had five or more regular players that would be eneough to start building and recruiting a team, i might rent a vent server if there was eneough of us to make use of it.

I usually only play one game at a time, but if there are more folks with one game than another then i would happily switch from COD4 to invest the right amount of time to help make a decent squad.

Any recomendations?

I have only been playing COD4 a month now and its great, but if there was a new game comming up then it would be cool to all start out at a similar level and work up, it good steam and its great fun getting the team to deliver some hammer time to other clans.

A game that is great to play in squads and with teamspeak is America's Army ( a free tactical military shooter developed by the US Army), the 3.0 should be out within the end of the year and will be written from the ground up using the Unreal Engine 3.
Now it is at 2.8.3.1 and it's still based on Unreal Engine 2, and it shows its age compared to CoD4 graphics wise.
But gameplay is totally different (no respawn, timed rounds with objectives, most of the time you use 1 maybe 2 clips in a whole round, unless you spam).
It's all based on teamwork (if you want to do Rambo you better be they-call-you-haxor good), cover and sneakyness is essential.
Since it's free you could give it a try, be warned it can be frustrating at first when you get owned in the first 30 seconds and then have to wait 5 minutes to play other 30 seconds.
