yeh, but most of that's in geo-stationary orbit, not classed as your average 'fastwalker' and general aeroplane and Mexico botherers.

Right!

As you may know, I'm a confirmed non believer.

However, I was just out walking my dog, and I saw something.

Where I live, I can see 3 sets of hills, I think they are all the pennines, but I will have to check on google maps which ones they are.

It's a really clear day here and I noticed a glint in the sky over the middle set of hills which are about 15-20 miles away (ish). It was moving at high speed to the my left (west ish) and it must have travelled around 20 miles in just a few seconds, then it stopped dead, dropped, zig zagged right, left, then diagonally up to the right and then back on course to the left (west ish).

I watched it go all the way to Winter hill and then I lost sight.

Whatever it was was big, white/shiney on one side, black/dark on the other and was flipping round as it was moving. I couldnt see a definite shape, but a fishes body shape is how I could best describe it

There was no sound of an engine or anything, but it was a long way off.

I'm going to find the spot on google maps.

Ok, looks to be around the Ramsbottom area () going west towards Edgworth, Edgerton and Smithills, then lost sight of it at Belmont.
