Gfx card change b0rkd CoD4

All I did was swap my 640mb 8800GTS for a new 512mb 8800GTS. No software or driver changes, just ran fine from the off. That was untill I wanted a game of CoD4. Then I got "iw3sp.exe has stopped working" whenever I try & start a SP or MP game. Tried uninstalling, removing folders, manually scrubbing the registry & just about every other solution I could track down on google. Have also tried the Activision help desk, but they too have drawn a blank. It's driving me 'kin nuts!

cheers, tried that already & to no avail. Much oddness. Spent hours trawling & trying everything google turned up. I'll just have to dust off my old gaming rig & go with that for the time being. Probably something screwy with Vista x64.

Ah well, lets hope some of the gaming lot have some better ideas
