Arrow Tomb Raider Underworld comes out Friday (UK)

TRU is due to be released tomorrow in the UK. Is anyone here going to buy it?

I am a big Lara fan and have all the games from the very beginning, however since Crystal Dynamics took over making them I'm not so keen.

Do not get me wrong the graphics are stunning it is the lack of keyboard support that DC give that is the problem.
Yes I know that most people do not use their keyboard to play PC games but if your not a gamepad fan you do not have much choice.

The demo has got me hooked on wanting to play Underworld, so first thing tomorrow morning i will be in GAME getting my special edition copy.

I played the demo on the 360, and whilst it looks good, the gameplay bores me a bit. It's the same old jumping off ledges, hanging onto ropes etc etc.. I know I'd play it for a few hours and then never play it again, like I've done with the last few.

The camera angles and awkward controls put me off as well.

I have 1, 2, 3 and four, wasn't so keen on 3 but loved the others. I just got Legends as it was in Games three for a tenner section. I very rarely buy games these days when they come out, you only have to wait a few months now and they are in the bargain bin and the patches have been released.

They've all certainly had their knockers.

I'm not in the first level and I'm having a choppy time of it!
Crashed numerous times!!
Hey i can play Crysis with the highest graphics but this game I have to turn it down a notch or two, otherwise it crashes to the floor with corruption errors.

Yes I have updated my drivers... yes I have the latest BIOS and yes my system is over recommended spec.

I bet a GTX is over recommended, but by corruption errors you mean visible graphical artefacts? That could also be the GPU or the GDDR hitting a thermal limit.

It just crashes to desktop with the usual error screen, or with a fatal corruption error!

I'm not sure what I can do about it as it is happening every so often.

drivercleaner.net and a reinstall of fresh drivers...maybe there are some specific ones for that game? Tried the Nvidia beta site?
