The word is Awesome... Stonkingly Mega Awesome

However if CCL mess up my order for an entire new computer then i will once again be the last person on the planet other than my dad who doesn't have a working version of this game completed before christmas. Especially since my best friend has a PS3 and will buy it the day it comes out and talk about how awesome it is and how i can't play it....

Thread is basically started so we can talk about who has been waiting for this game for the longest and i vote that the somebody is me... With the exception of portal this is the longest i have ever waited for a game. Lets just hope its as awesome as portal or i will be massively annoyed like the time i waited for UT2003 to come out and realised it was a pile of crud...

Have you got the latest Crysis? If so, what d'you reckon to it? Got it installed today but not had time to play yet....

I will buy Farcry 2 if the reviews say that the online MP is good, that's the only reason i would buy a game at full price.
I reckon i will be getting CoD 5, so there is space for another game tops, so i will choose carefully. I don't have time to play too many games.

Unfortunatly no... I don't have the latest crysis. Or the original crysis... because for the last 4 years my PC hasn't had an upgrade and quite frankly when you turn up the graphics settings to anything beyond medium tom's hardware points out that even if you win the euromillions and have bought a gaming PC that a hardcore german overclocker would be proud of you will still only manage about 23fps. Its unlikely therefore that i will play it before 2020 because that's about the time that i assume gaming PC's will be able to handle it but considering that there won't be enough electricty in europe to power such a mighty PC by 2020 its unlikely that i will ever get on that bandwagon. FarCry 2 However, (now that we are back on topic) looks like the most emmersive shooter since Halflife 2 and considering the AI in FarCry was better than the AI in almost every game to date (GTA 4 springs to mind) i am expecting big things... which pretty much assumes that this is either going to be the next portal (which is unlikely because that game is the most excellent game ever) or that its going to be a massive dissapointment....

It's fun, the multiplayer is nice but it's not COD4.
Back on topic, FC2 has great exceptions from I hope it'll stand by them.
Hearing it'll have DirectX 10.1 support make it interesting but the DRM story ruins it.

Well my copy of FarCry2 is on pre-order with play, so hopefully they will post them before the release date so it lands on my door mat the day of release.

Crysis, hell no... it says EA on the box so I will not buy it!!

Being an EA Game doesn't stop it from being good. But it does probably mean that many programmers were harmed during the making of the video game. And every time you install it the DRM steals a piece of your soul...
