These come recommended by some. All you need is distilled water and any other tubing.
Petra's Tech Shop

I was looking at your pump choice. If you use the Mo-Ra then maybe an Iwaki would be a good choice, but as you need a separate power supply then would you like to consider the D5?
It is rated a 1200LPH http://www.petrastechshop.com/swmcin12pu.html It is alot cheaper than the Iwaki too.

With the money you save not buying the Iwaki you could possibly by 120x38mm fans with shrouds like the San Aces everyone says are the dogs dangly bits.

Is there a major improvement from 120x25 to 120x38 fans? Does the shroud really do something?
I read a huge number of statements from a german forum and they all were very good regarding 9 Yate Loons DS12SL(the 1350rpm version) on the Mo-Ra.
Also you must take in regards that I want to buy everything from one place if possible, and aquatuning.de does not have San Aces. Ok i could make a detour and buy Feser One and San Aces and shrouds from another store but do i find one that ships internationally?
The D5 looks nice(1200LPH). The nice part about the Aquastream is that is has thermal probes and you can easily read water temperature with a software in Windows. Also you can see flowrate and control fans with it.
PS: Are the San Aces from Petra's silent? Most of the people use the Yate Loons either at 5 or at 7V so they are pretty silent.

I read it but there are a couple of things that are not there:
-there is no comparison between a 120x38 fan and a 120x25 fan setup on the same radiator
-same as above but with/without shroud combinations
-as I am intending to use a 9.120 which would mean 9 fans the Ultra Kaze is really not an option(from what i've read they are not silent at all)
-San Aces 1011,Yate Loon(1350rpm) and Scythe S-Flex SFF21F are the main contenders

I dont think you will be disapointed with the yates. They are very good fans and not expensive.
But as this is shaping up to be quite an intensive project i thought i should mention the San Aces as they seem to fit with the scale of the rest of the build.

Th D5s are excellent pumps, but as far as i am aware they do not have temperature monitoring built in.
However they are very popular and a range of mounts and 3rd party top and fittings are available.
I do think a powerful pump is needed with that rad, i will try to find some info on its restriction and post back later.

If you did buy the D5 then try to get some other bits from petras too. Some of their Yates are said to be different (better) than the ones sold elsewhere so they might be worth a call to find out of they can ship to you.

Ok thanks for the tip.
About the D5 tops, is it advised to use them? It seems to be that flow is restricted to the 1/4 barbs from the top. Why not use the 1/2 original barbs of the pump?
I found a shop from UK that might send things to Romania. www.chilledpc.co.uk. Is it any good?
About the Aquastream pump: there is a guy that has it and the radiator in the basement and through some holes in the ceilling he is cooling 2 pcs with it. Seems pretty powerful.

Feser Aqua is basically just destilled and deionised water.

In theory, you could run a loop with just that, assuming that you don't have any mixed metals.

Most anti-corrosion/anti-algae additives will add some kind of colour to the water.

Here is something i read recently on these.
A quick test of the Detroit Thermo D5 top - XtremeSystems Forums
I didnt buy a D5, i wanted to use the XSPC res top and the Laing 18w was eneough for my present needs. But as you are doing something bigger i thought these were worth a mention.

As to ChilledPC i have not used them, but it is funny you mention them as i was thinking of using them to supply some other parts for my next project. Perhaps someone else on here can advise you on their service.

As i know know nothing about those aquastream pumps i cant really comment, i have only read up on Laing DDC/D5 and Iwakis but only used the 18w i have. It seems you have lots more info on the aquastreams so i think you should stick to those if you feel they offer all you need.

This is a very interesting build you are planning, definately worth doing plenty of research to make it all as good as possible.

Yes, a lot of research mainly because from the 5.12 till the 17.12.2008 there is a promotion(-12%) at aquatuning.de
I do not know if i should choose the Aquastream or the D5 because I read somewhere that a too high flow isnt really that good for cooling. There seems to be somekind of sweetspot between flow and cooling.
I asked a guy from the german forums(almost all of them use the Aquastream) and he said that i should not choose the D5 because its noisier and has a smaller H(delivery head i think is the correct nomenclature).
