Chuff...

The hassellhoff I used to have flashing and reloading BIOS on my old NF3 unless i did the steps reccomended...

Reset BIOS
Power Off
Remove CMOS Battery
Press power switch several times to discharge !!
Leave to stand for 30 mins
BIOS battery in power connected
FLASH BIOS
Re Flash BIOS
Apply defaults and save x2
Try new BIOS and settings.
Pull hair out as CPU FSB Resets it self to some silly value every time you re-boot.

I guess overkill on my part.. Must be superstitious...

Anyhow...

I've been having fun getting this past C1

What temp program??

And why two different readings. I like the real temp 1 but core temp is probably the correct one...

Will post progress in overclocking...

Realtemp is probably closer, but don't worry too much about the temps.

C1 error is slightly worrying if you are getting it regularly and without reason, especially if it does it at stock.

Might be worth memtesting the sticks and seeing how they do.

By the way, it will always show C1 for a while when you first fire it up.

Memtest wise I clocked them @1100 about don't remember exact.. left overnight.
Passed 68 runs... at 2.1v with 5-5-5-18

C1 error I was getting every time I tried to overclock with the defaults and 5-5-5-18 setup..

Found Praz's post on OCZ with the timings for the 2x2gb modules. Banged them in with a bit of fiddling and they seem solid for now.

No more C1's Anyway save that for the OC post.. Thank's Praz

Got some better temps with the heatsink rotated...

Maybe I mounted better or maybe it matched the Die that way better..

Anyway soaked this while walking the dog...

A bit better on the temps.

Soaking at 3.466 @ 58oc for 20mins so far...

For reference here is where I assume the Ultra hit the NB sink...

I now I am cutting corners BUT will soak overnight later...
