Default Which of these 3 120mm case fans do you recommend?

Hi Guys,

Want to replace all 5 of my case fans for more airflow but torn between the 3 below, which do you reckon I should get and why?

Does anyone use any of these?

1) Sharkoon Silent Eagle 2000 120mm

2) Yate Loon D12SM-12 120mm

3) Xilence XPF120R Red Wing 120mm

Thanks

These are great and cheap.

These are very quiet but don't push a great deal of air if I remember right.

I haven't used the other

Hey Clunk,

Thanks for the input, i'm starting to sound like this guy:

I have heard similar things about the Xilence fans and the advertised ratings seem a little off compared to others, they say only 21.2dBa with 68CFM which seems unlikely.

You reckon they'll push more air than my case fans which is rated at roughly 45CFM-ish?
I have seen the Xilence ones on Aria today for £2.88 each!

Akasa AK-174BK-S

Xigmatek XSF-F1251

Used both for CPU, I would use either for case. Xigmatek shifting the most air.

Are the looneys noisy? (and I dont mean the local yobs outside the co-op!) I mean having 5 at full speed? I am using a Coolermaster Cosmos so I guess this'll help the overall noise levels

For 2.88 the xsilence are a complete and utter bargain.

If they are the same as the ones I had, they only have a molex connector, so might be worth looking at that before you buy.

You will be able to hear them at full whack, but the good thing about them is that they undervolt really well and still push a good amount of air while being almost silent.

Use with a fan controllerings for fully wonderfulness.

At full tilt you'll hear them for sure - even then they're not exsessive, they do run at low speed off a decent fan controller though without stalling unlike some are reported as doing so you can keep the noise down when you're not working flat out and are pretty good value !

According to Aria's customers reviews they do have the 3 pin connector which is cool.

I would love a fan controller but as the Cosmos has a door, which is very shallow I cant use any I have seen really, it'd need to also control 5 fans!

Does anyone think that the Xilence would still push more air than my stock fans even though they might not push the rated airflow?

Thanks so far for all your input guys
