TRUE 120 Black or Core Contact Freezer?
I'm gonna get a new CPU cooler, so wich one would you like to see reviewed here?
TRUE 120 Black
SilenX IXC-120HA2 (it's the same as the Core Contact, it just ships with one of their fans)

The SBT CCF is a nice cheap cooler and i would be interested to see how it goes with one of those fans.
I cant imagine the TRUE Black would be any different from the standard model so purely to learn something new i go with the CCF.

I love the TRUE and as far as I can tell the HDT coolers don't deliver the performance that all the hype promised. I'd probably get a standard TRUE as they are cheap now, or wait for that Danamics thing to materialise.

Fact is, that here in Italy i can get the TRUE for 50€ and the TRUE Black for 55€, so i thought i'd go with the bling for just 5€.
The SilenX branded Core Contact comes at around 45€, but the same shops sells the fan included with it for 20€, so that's not a bad deal.

I think you should make one from scratch.

It might seem strange, but i think it's actually much easier to make a good waterblock than a good aircooler.

Without doubt, think how fiddly and how many cuts you'd get messing with all those fins.

And soldering like 50 fins by hand would take forever.
