Default Interested in Folding?

It's not something I'd really thought about, but if enough people are interested in it, then we can sort it out.

If you are interested in making a little folding team, show your interest here please.

I would definetly be interested. I am currently folding an SMP on my Q6600 along with a GPU2 on my 9800GTX. Getting around 7000PPD. Although my mum will no longer allow me to leave my PC running 24/7 due to the high cost of electricity these days . But nevertheless I still fold as much as I can, usually 24hours every other day.

Sorry, but i can't due to the costs of electricity.
Folding with the CPU alone would come at 50€/month, CPU+GPU 100€/month, and this would be on top of the rest of the bill.

I think electricity prices are the main reason many people aren't folding as much anymore. If more renewable energy was used (wind farms, solar panels, etc.) surely electricity prices would be a lot more reasonable. Every product involving oil seems to be barely affordable. Renewable Energy FTW!

As long as it'll fit on the roof and spin round, I'll have it

Vulture Central 2.2 Folding@Home

Two dual cores and an 8800GT folding away here. Was on grid.org effort for years before that. Anything that can maybe find a cure for cancer is worth the money as far as I'm concerned.
