It does look good, it's just too big in a smaller mid tower - so that'll be going soon as well as the case.

Top half of the cabling was a pain (moral of the story is buy modular) but I had that Seasonic PSU spare and it's silent and 600W. Also the case is marginally too small to operate in, although things would loosen up some with a smaller GPU.

Scan notified me at the last minute that the floppy cable I wanted (black, cheap, short and matched - ideal) wasn't in stock, which is why I ended up with that 16 metre long thing - which, considering, is bugger all to what most get told isn't in stock. I would have took more time over the bottom half, hiding things wise, but I lost interest as I was eyeing the new Lian Li's on the laptop at the time.

Pointless exercise further cable management for me, I knew the case wasn't staying when I put the components in.

Yeh, 60mm. I started with an 80mm but there was no room to fit it in, so I got a cheap standard Akasa 60mm which sounded like a hovercraft and created phenomenal case vibration using the home made bracket set up. So I tried the Akasa Amber 60mm which is less dB and it's just about acceptable if you a) tighten the wing nut, tight. and b) put two hard round balls of blu-tack between the RAM and fan - it dampens vibration considerably. Ideally I'd put an AcoustiFan DustPROOF 60mm in and I'd be happy with the noise level (or lack of it). But the Amber is acceptable. ..and I'm picky about case noise.

Akasa standard £3.00 >> Amber £6.50 ish >> AcoustiFan £13 ish for a 60 mil fan.

Yes indeedy - "Diamondback" ...and that's another thing that'll be going in the shake up. It's for people with abnormal shaped hands ...I just can't get on with it.
