I thought it was a peel off backing myself, but it's a white rubber coating which I can only assume is to stop the backplate shorting out on the case?

Anyway, I've had a busy afternoon.....

I fitted the motherboard tray and mobo into the case, and went for it with building the loop.

Plenty of room left for another loop if I ever decide to wc the gfx card(s)

I'd got some coils to keep the tubing a bit tidier in the loop

Once I'd sorted the loop out, I fitted the GT's to the rad and left it all ready for leak testing tomorrow

Well after all the unwanted and unforeseen interruptions, it's finally up and running

I had to put the graphics holder thingy on, as the weight of the coolers on the 5850 was starting to drag it downwards....

The cutouts in the backplate worked out nicely - seeing as they were marked out using an online picture....

Managed to get the drives back suspended as before

Temps on first startup with WC

I'm going to see what the temps are like over the next few days, as I used Tuniq TX3 as opposed to AS5, and it doesn't really spread that well......

Thanks to Clunk and Aff 13 for their help on MSN, and everyone else for their help and suggestions during the planning and building of this

    Lovely work Pastie.
I really like the blue paint job, nice neat tubing and the way the rad fit in the front.
Hope it will be as much fun to overclock now.

Having re-mounted the block because of high temps, I've been playing today getting to know the board and CPU with watercooling....

    3800Mhz 20 X 190Blk / 1.23750v V.core / 1.12 VTT/QPI /

I've got to here after a few stops and starts with working out how to get around the board and how it all works after 775......

The CPU hasn't been over 51c with this block when testing, so I think it's probably sat right now

Sat at 3.9Ghz while I work out what the lowest voltage I can boot to 4Ghz and be stable is.

    3900Mhz / 20 X 195Blk / 1.26250v V.core / 1.120v VTT

I've got line calibration set to level 2 to get it prime stable at 3.9ghz.
