Hi supershanks and first of all Merry Xmas!
I want to ask you a couple of silly questions because, as i said in a previous
post, all those "extra" values for memory timings have little or no meaning to me and as i understand, they are VERY important to have this mobo run smoothly at almost any given
FSB.
First question is: for all the timings is valid the rule "the lower the number the better performance"? Probably it is an obvious question but i am not sure whether this rule applies only to the "classic" timings such as 5-5-5-12, etc. or all of them.
My second question is actually a request of advice on this configuration. This is 3.3Ghz rock stable (i'ma actually trying to lower the core voltage to get better temp) but if i try to raise a bit the
FSB, say at 380, i boot without problems but i immediately get memory errors when i launch a stability test with Everest. Any advice on how to change those (bloody) memory timings? I used the template and read the timings from MemSet but i couldn't recognize all the names as they are probably called in a different way. In my present configuration i let the mobo decide all the timings giving the Extreme performance.
Thanks for your help
